A comfortable visit

Ask about step-free access, seating height and other access needs before you visit. These details depend on your studio; update this section with verified facilities.

The good-to-know things

Wear something that can get a little muddy. Short nails help; rings can stay at home. Confirm age guidance and accompaniment requirements with the studio.

A few good
questions.

Do I need to have done this before?

Not for a beginner workshop. Handbuilding starts with simple tools and a little curiosity; wheel sessions introduce each step from the beginning.

Can I take my piece home on the day?

Unfired clay is fragile. Finished pieces stay at the studio to dry and go through firing. Ask for the current collection window before reserving a class.

How do I reserve a workshop?

Email the studio with a class and a preferred date. Your place is only reserved after the studio replies and confirms its booking terms. This demo does not accept bookings or payments.

Can our group have a private session?

Send the size of your group and a few possible dates. The studio can advise on capacity, access, age guidance and the right format before you make arrangements.
