What the licence allows

One purchase covers unlimited projects, including paid client work, and you keep it. What you cannot do is resell the template itself.

Buying a template gives you a licence to use it. One purchase covers:

• Unlimited projects. There is no per-site or per-seat limit.
• Client work. You can build a site for a paying client with it, and charge whatever you charge.
• Keeping it. No subscription, no expiry, no seat count. Modify it however you like.

What it does not allow

You cannot resell or give away the template itself as a template, a starter kit, or a theme. You also cannot include it in something whose main value to the buyer is the template rather than what you built with it.

The line is straightforward in practice: selling a website you built is fine, selling the building blocks is not.

The free templates work the same way, for unlimited projects, at no cost.
